This is a great vest. Very lightweight and comfortable overall. Holds tight to your shoulders with no slipping. Huge cargo pockets for storage as well as hand pockets. Really big zipper for easy use. The Inferno camo on one side or reversible to blaze orange. Best safety vest on the market!
The NJORD pants are built for layering. These are very warm pants that you can take off as the temperature rises. I think these would work great for cold sits in a deer blind, tree stand as well as just glassing the hill side. The fleece liner makes them very quite as well. I really like these pants but not for long hikes as your body temp would have you sweating in no time.
This is a very cozy jacket made for layering. The fleece liner is very warm and quiet. Great hand pockets as well as a chest pocket that have plenty of room. Best part of this jacket is the zippers under your arms to really open up your body core to dump the heat.
I love this knife. Havalon makes a great blade. I typically like something with a bigger handle on it, but the blades are so good on these its tough not to use it. Changing the blades isn't always the easiest, but that may just be me. All in all, I would highly recommend.
I love this bow. It shoots fast, smooth, and accurate. You can hold your draw all day long, and the bow is very lightweight. Everyone has their preference when it comes to bows, but this is the best feeling bow I have shot. It's virtually the same thing as the RX-4, and it comes at a lot better value. Highly recommend.
Working with The Draw has been great for getting my son started earing points for those hard to get tags. On his first year applying my son drew a great New Mexico Deer tag for a youth hunt. This is such a great opportunity for getting kids started.
This is my fire starter of choice. Waterproof tin case that is easy to fit into any bag or pack. It's easy to pinch off a piece to light as well. Very cool product that I would guess you could get 10 or so fires with. They claim more but I think that would be if you were to dice up the putty into tiny cubes. Just easer to pinch off some and expose the fibers for a fast light.
I have the Summer, Winter & Ultra-Lite varieties. I really can't tell the difference between winter and summer variety. I think the petroleum base product is supposed to stand up to the summer time heat better but I haven't seen any difference. Great product that is very easy to light. This is a must for any camper for safety kit.
I saw this PYRO putty on display at a tradeshow. You can not resist yourself to try this stuff. Hard tin can for protection of oil based petroleum putty. Easy to pinch off enough to light. It has very small fibers in the putty that lights fast. I have tried Winter, Summer & Ultra-Lite. They all work great and super fast once you hit it with your lighter. Its also waterproof just in case you leave it out in the rain or drop into the steam. Overall this is a great product to take along on any day trip or extended stay. I would think you could easily get 7 to 10 fires from one can of product.
This is my favorite out of all the pyro putty I have tried. I can't tell a huge difference between all of the different styles though. It lights quick, and packs light and efficient. I like it a lot and keep some in my hunting bag at all times.
