What’s the best way to cool off this summer? Golden retriever Cleo clearly knows best! This month, we’re challenging you to share your most adorable dog photography. “I took this at sunset while Cleo took a dip in Canadice Lake, New York, at f/1.8 to really put emphasis on her and separate from the background.” Photo by Brady Hommel Photography with the mirrorless Z 6 and NIKKOR Z 50mm f/1.8 S lens. Keep sharing your photos with us here for a chance to be featured this month!

Nikon photographer Lindsay Silverman shares how he took this Z 7 photo with the NIKKOR Z 24-70mm f/2.8 S lens using crop mode to create a composition that suits the scene. "When I started working with these modes, I thought of them as creative composition choices that were the results of my ideas about the pictures I was taking." See what crop mode choices he's using with the mirrorless Z Series to capture the shots: http://bit.ly/2Z7puSF

One of the key considerations when shooting timelapse videos is how long the interval should be between images! Here's a tip: For fast-moving objects like water or clouds, the interval should be short. For slower moving scenes like a house being built, try a longer interval allowing more time between shots. Video by #Nikon100 creator Christine Kenyon Photography shot at a 3-second interval with the Z 6, Mount Adapter FTZ and AF-S NIKKOR 24-70mm f/2.8G ED lens.
